NestBub Editorial
From planning to a useful gift list
Turn a shortlist into a registry guests can use. You do not need to choose every product before starting: list what you already have, choose a few priorities, and leave undecided items off the shared list.
Choose New Zealand when creating your registry. NZD is the default for new manual items. Check the currency and current retailer price on imported products rather than assuming every overseas link is priced in NZD. NestBub is a list, not a currency-exchange or delivery service.
Ask the seller whether it delivers to your postcode, including any rural-delivery charge, before choosing a large gift. Check the returns window, who pays return freight and whether local warranty support covers the exact model. Guests overseas can use a suitable local retailer link instead of shipping the same item internationally.
Add the exact model, size, colour and quantity needed, plus whether a substitute or hand-me-down is welcome. For second-hand offers, ask guests to contact you first so you can check condition, instructions and any recalls. Use a manual gift idea for practical help rather than inventing a product price.
Guests can browse without an account, reserve a gift and follow the retailer link to buy it. A reservation on NestBub is not a retailer order or proof of payment. Confirm stock, checkout, delivery and returns with the seller. For a Wishing Well, agree the help or payment directly with the family: NestBub does not collect or transfer that money. A NZD price note is not an in-app payment request.

Public registries can appear in search. Unlisted registries stay out of public search but are not password-protected: anyone with the link can open them. Private keeps the registry hidden from guests while you prepare it. Avoid putting an address, phone number or other sensitive family information in public gift notes; arrange delivery details directly with people you trust.
Example wording, not a customer testimonial:
If you would like gift ideas, our NZ registry is here: [your registry link]. Please check the size and colour in each note, and confirm delivery with the retailer. Pre-loved offers are welcome if you check with us first. There is no expectation to buy anything.
